Government Buildings: The PT2 Messaging System allows employees to receive specific messages and alerts within seconds. The personalized hand held device, the eFob, allows anyone to receive specific messages. If a building is flooding or under duress, an alert will be sent from security to each eFob receiver with a message to evacuate and not return to the facility. Successive messages can then be sent to advise personnel to go to an appropriate location in another facility or outdoors.
The POD device can be mounted strategically in administrative offices, training facilities, common areas, and service buildings as appropriate.
Rural and Small Municipalities: The PT2 Messaging System is ideal for small communities. The types of emergency alerts could include catastrophic weather conditions, violent incidents, hazardous waste, or child abductions. Workstations can be located in mobile units throughout the community, and residents and visitors can utilize eFobs to receive specific messages. The system is a cost effective and efficient means of notifying a community of emergency events. Successive messages allows local enforcement and emergency management teams to efficiently direct residents to nearby safe havens.
Correctional Facilities: Secured facilities may enhance current communications by the PT2 Messaging System. The system allows users to receive messages within seconds. Strategically placed and secure workstations and repeaters allow security to communicate uncompromised by power or incident failures associated with existing systems. Every employee, as selected by commanding administration, can be equipped with a personalized eFob. PODs can be strategically placed throughout the facility to enhance awareness in administrative locations. All areas of the facility can be notified of situations and how they should respond.
Public Notifications: The ablity to notify a large population of an emergency event quickly is a feature much desired by government agencies and cities. Current solutions are hampered by issues such as overloads, speed, and targeting. Purple Tree is developing a newly patented process that will be able to notify virtually any number of people quickly, and will be able to notify only the targeted area.
