The City of Fulton, MO and Purple Tree Technologies Inc. of Columbia, MO have unveiled the installation of the PT2 Emergency Messaging System in Fulton to provide citywide emergency messaging. Purple Tree has installed a wireless network to provide coverage to virtually all areas of the city.
US Patent Granted to Purple Tree

Purple Tree Technologies Inc. in Columbia, MO has been granted a United States Patent for their invention of an alert system and apparatus that utilizes a now proprietary process to disseminate emergency information from various sources to the public. The information will be presented to personal devices such as cellular phones, PDA's, and Purple Tree's proprietary eFob.
PT2 System Installed in Local College

Purple Tree Technologies has been contracted to install the PT2 Emergency Messaging System at Columbia College in Columbia, MO. Purple Tree began installing the system in January 2009 with the initial installation completed in February. Columbia College is utilizing the system along with older alerting systems to provide a multi-layer approach for disseminating emergency information in a timely manner. The installation at Columbia College includes the POD and eFob receivers, as well as POD options such as a louder external siren and LED Tickers for larger common areas on the campus.
PT2 System Installed in 15 Shopping Malls

Purple Tree Technologies has completed installation of their PT2 Emergency Messaging System in 15 shopping Malls across New York and Massachusetts. All of the malls are owned and operated by The Pyramid Companies group based in Syracuse, NY.
Alert device to be tested on campus

COLUMBIA — A Columbia company will be testing a keychain-sized device on the MU campus next week that could be part of a new emergency alert system for students, faculty and staff.
Purple Tree Technologies will give a 20-minute presentation and then test the device, called an e-Fob, Nov. 20 at MU Police Department headquarters, located at the southwest corner of the Virginia Ave. parking garage on campus.
